Linda Susan Jones age 59, of Highland, entered into the presences of her Lord Savior on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 while surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, David Jones; son: Matthew Jones; daughter: Megan (Eric) Zyglowicz ; Sister: Karen (David) Sophiea; brother: Robert Jarman Jr. nieces, nephews a host of dear friends and her faithful Australian Cattle dog Sydnee.

Preceded in death by her beloved Parents, Robert Sr. and  Lucy Jarman .

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. Directly at Lake Hills Baptist Church 9209 W. 85th Ave. Schererville, IN, with Pastor Phil Humber officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) from noon until 8 p.m. and on Saturday at Lake Hills Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.

Linda was a longtime resident of the Highland, a graduate of Munster High School class of 1974 she then earned her Bachelors from Indiana University and her Masters in elementary education from Purdue University Calumet. She taught Kindergarten at Munster and Subbed at Highland Schools working with students with special needs. She was a member Lake Hills Baptist Church. Linda enjoyed reading, walking, being a homemaker, taking care of and spending time with her family and friends.
