Linda K. Goddard, age 74 of Griffith passed away peacefully on Monday, April 16, 2018.

She is survived by her son Scott (Danna) Goddard; stepchildren: Terry (Fran) Goddard and Sandi Goddard; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings: Debbie (Les) Gabel, Phyllis Brasser, Daniel (Genna) Holt; brother in-law, Joe Kettwig; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 32 years, Bill Goddard; sister Sandy Kettwig, brother in-law, Jim Brasser; parents: Edward Sweitzer and Georgia Hunter.

Linda was born and raised in Gary, IN and a graduate of Emerson High School. She has been a resident of Griffith for over the past twenty years. Linda enjoyed knitting, crocheting, Bunco Club, casinos, cooking and baking. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Michael Matiscik officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. In lieu flowers memorials to the family would be preferred.
