Linda L Cochran (Nee Williams), age 68, of Hammond, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 surrounded by her family.

Linda is survived by her two children: Ronald L. and Candace M. Cochran; sister: Dr. Patricia Williams-Boyd; sister in-law: Patricia Williams.

many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Delbert and Blanche Williams and brother: Dennis Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 21,2017 at 10:00 a.m. Directly at Hessville Baptist Church 6423 Arizona Ave. Hammond, with Pastor Jeffrey Hannon officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond. Friends are invited to meet with the family at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) on Sunday, August 20th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00- 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Linda was born and raised in Hammond, graduated from Morton High School in 1967. She was a long time supporter of the D.A.R.E. program. Linda was a loving mother, sister and aunt who enjoyed being with her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
