Lizzie M. Parker was born on September 12, 1947, in Lake Cormorant, MS to the union of George Parker and Curren Prescott Parker.

Liz received her high school diploma in 1965 from Delta Center High School in Walls, MS. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age.

Liz is preceded in death by her parents, George and Curren Parker; her significant other, Richard Cryer; two sisters: Mae and Ernestine; aunts, uncles and cousins.

She leaves to mourn her memory, three sisters: Catherine White, Corine Jones and Dorothy Parker; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Celebration of her life will be held at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, IN 46323 on Thursday, June 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial at Elmwood Cemetery 1413-169th St. Hammond, In 46324.
