Lois I. Keown, age 92, of Highland, entered the gates of heaven on Sunday, June 11, 2017.

She joins in heaven her loving husband of 59 years, Conrad J. Keown who preceded her on January 27, 2002.

She is survived by three sons: Larry (Penny) Keown, Dennis Keown and Gary (Debby) Keown;

seven grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren; one son in-law, George Wolotka; many nieces nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Radford and Martha Smith; and daughters: Germaine Wolotka and Betty Jean Keown.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville).

Funeral service will take place Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Best officiating. Private burial at Memory Lane Cemetery, Crown Point, IN.

Lois was a long time resident of Highland and attended HopeSpring Church (First Baptist Church of Griffith).
