Loretta Katheryn Hasselgren, 85, of Demotte, formerly of Hessville entered into the gates of heaven on Sunday, March 9, 2014.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Dawn (Al) Kovera
Gail (Ivette) Wiswell
Lisa (Mark) Griffith;
2 sons: Dean (Robin) Hasselgren,
Carl (Michele) Hasselgren;
10 Grandchildren;
2 great grandchildren;
Several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Donald A. Hasselgren;
Son, John Hasselgren; 1 granddaughter, Jennifer Brockwell; parents, John and Marie Dilts.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, March 14, 2014 for a Memorial visitation at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until 6:00 p.m.
A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, at 2:00 p.m. with Father Steve Kosinski officiating.
Private cremation preceded the service.
Liz was born and raised in Hammond. She was an accomplished musician, playing organ, piano and accordion.
Liz was the "Queen" of garage sales! Her motto for gardening was, "if it won't grow, just use plastic"!
Liz had a great sense of humor, she was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.
