Lorraine M. Harris, age 96, of Hammond passed on into eternal life on Friday, February 4, 2022.

She is survived by three children: Lynn Hurtt, Terrance Flusche and Gail Hill; step-son, Paul (Sally) Harris; five grandchildren: Lori Hurtt, Jennifer Hill, Kimberly (Mark) Bedella, Lauren and Steven Harris; five great grandchildren: Grayson Hurtt, Riese Drummond, Peyton Drummond, Ruby Bedella and Isaiah Bedella; cousins: Dette (Don) Stry and  Jeff (Barbara) Kristoff; and her friend and loving caregiver, Maribel Baez.

She is preceded in death by her husbands: Paul Flusche and Bryan Harris; parents: Louis and Marie Otvos; son-in-law, Terry Hurtt; brother, Robert Otvos.

Cremation services were private.

Lorraine was a longtime resident of the region where she graduated from Washington High School in East Chicago. She worked as a secretary at Farm Bureau Milling Company after her husband Paul died. She was a great cook and loved to bake. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and playing golf. A special thanks to Transitions Hospice for their care.
