Lorraine R. Jewett, age 90, of Hammond, entered into the presence of The Lord on Friday, January 10, 2025.

She is survived by her son, Thomas R. Jewett; five grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Jewett; daughter, Cynthia Wiseman; two sisters: Clara "Mickey" Morgan and Margaret O'Keefe.

Friends and family are invited for a time of visitation on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond IN 46323. A Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Orlando Solar will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be private at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond.

Lorraine was a lifelong native of the region. She was a long-time faithful member of Hessville Assembly of God Church now Lifepoint Church Hammond. There she taught Sunday School, participated in the choir and the senior members group. She also loved to travel to Florida. She will be remembered for her dedication to the Lord and ministry of the Church.
