Louie M. Scott, age 94 of Jasper, IN formerly of Highland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 19, 2010.

She is survived by one daughter; Madeline (Kelly) Sharp of Troy, IN

One son; John Paul (Missy) Scott of French Lick, IN

Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren

Preceded in death by her husband; William Scott, Sr., daughter; Valerie Gonzalez, son; William Scott, Jr.,

2 grandsons; Brandon Sharp and Chris Gonzalez, great grandson; Bobby Coppes, parents; Henry and Lera Samples, Parents-in-law; Lewis and Esther Scott

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home,

7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville. Burial will follow at Memory Lane Memorial Park in Schererville. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, ^t from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

Louie was a lifetime resident of the Hammond/Highland area before moving to Jasper to be near her family. She was the former owner of Paint City in Hammond. A long time faithful member of South Side Christian Church where she served on the missions committee and was a member of the Ruth Group and the Senior Saints. Louie served for 14 years as Nursery School Director at Katherine House of Christian Fellowship in East Chicago and Camp Okalona. She was a 62 year member of the Bide-a-wees Card Club.
