Louis Angelo Corso, III age 54, of Hammond passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010.
He was a loving father figure to Katie (Jose) Ochoa and their 3 sons; Isaiah, Abel and Israel Ochoa and Melissa Culver and her 2 children; Olivia and Junior
He is survived by his half-brothers: Kenneth (Kathy) Gaskey and William (Kathy) Gaskey, also, Marvin and Paul Charles Porter and many friends.
Preceded in death by his parents; Louis Corso, Jr. and Ann Baran Corso, and one brother; Nealon Gaskey.
Lou was a lifetime resident of the Calumet Area. He was a 1973 graduate of Highland High School and earned a bachelor's degree in business from Ball State University.
He was the owner of Rosie O'Grady's Restaurant and Lounge in the Roxanna section of East Chicago. Lou enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his grandsons. He was a loving, kind and generous person who had a "big" heart. As per Mr. Corso's request cremation and burial at St. John Cemetery in Hammond were private. A memorial service will be held on Sunday April 18, 2010 from 12 Noon until 3pm at the American Legion Post #232, 6523 Kennedy Ave. Hammond.
