Louie was born and raised in Chicago, and lived there until 2011 when he fulfilled his dream of living near the river where he loved to fish. He was retired from L-GRACO manufacturing after 25 years and then worked at Sara Lee / Holsum bakeries for 20 years. He was member of the bakers union local #1.To say Louie enjoyed fishing would be an understatement, he also liked camping, hunting, playing Pinochle, and fixing just about anything. He was a loving and devoted husband, father; grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. For more information you may call Bocken Funeral Home at (219)-844-1600, or www.bockenfunerals.com.
