Obituary

Louise A. Wolotka., age 77, of Crown Point, formerly of Hammond, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 12, 2026. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Frank T. Wolotka; two sons: Rick Wolotka and Michael Wolotka; sister, Mary Ann (James) Mancilla; brother in-law, Tim (Laveta) Wolotka; numerous, friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Ann Matolin A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 7140 Arizona Avenue with Father Charles Mosley, Celebrant. Private cremation will follow. Visitation will take place from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at Church.

Louise was a lifelong resident of the region. She attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help grade school and Bishop Noll high school. Louise enjoyed making ceramics, decorating, watching QVC and crime shows. She was fan of the Chicago Bears and Norte Dame football. She will be remembered for her hospitality and great cooking. Louise was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and sister who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
