Lucy Ella Jarman, age 75 of Munster passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday July 23, 2010.

She is survived by her 2 daughters: Linda (David) Jones and Karen (David) Sophiea

1 son: Robert Jarman, Jr.

6 Grandchildren: Matthew and Megan Jones, Christopher, Robin, Paul and Sean Sophiea

1 Brother: George W. (Yolanda) Butler , Jr.

Preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Robert M. Jarman, Sr. and her parents; George and Blanche Butler.

A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 2 until 8:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue , Hammond (Hessville). Private interment will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, where Lucy will be buried next to her beloved husband.

Lucy was a lifetime resident of the Calumet Area and a 1952 graduate of Whiting High School . She worked as office manager for Case Power & Equipment Co., and retired in 1995 after 20 years of service. Lucy was a devoted Cubs fan, an avid reader and loved shopping on the internet. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Memorials may be made in Lucy's memory to the Harbor Lights Hospice, 500 W. Lincolnway, Suite F., Merrillville , IN 46410 .
