Margaret Phyllis Dragus, age 95, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2016.

Marge is survived by her children: Janice (Norman) Rouse and Daniel (Margaret) Dragus; grandchildren: Angela Krupp, Elizabeth Akers, Anthony Gaio, Chris Dragus and Michelle Dragus; great grandchildren: Nathan and Natalie Krupp, Noah Akers, Mikaela and Josephine Dragus; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Dragus; parents, John and Maria Mroz and several brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., with a time of visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass at 10:00 a.m. directly at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 6605 Kentucky Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Father Charles Mosely celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond.

Marge was employed for many years at Carson Pirie Scott in Woodmar as manager of the housewares dept. She loved her job and treasured the friendships she made. After her retirement she spoke often of her experience and continued friendships made with her coworkers. Through her Catholic faith she provided her family with strength and love. Marge had a love for cooking and always celebrated holidays and family festivities with her Polish cooking and Polish traditions. In addition to special times spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, some of her fondest memories were times shared with her many friends. Marge loved playing "Bunko", bowling on a team and taking Caribbean cruises. She and her friends accumulated many trophies on their bowling team. She was a master of the game! Marge touched

so many lives and was a true inspiration to all who knew and loved her.
