Margaret C. Lawrence, age 67 of Hessville, passed away at her residence on Thursday, February 10, 2011.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Larry Patrick Lawrence;

mother, Isabel Norcross of Scotland;

one daughter, Dawn M. Lawrence of Crown Point;

2 sons: Robert K. (Amber) Lawrence of Hammond and Dale (Kara) Mann of Hobart.

10 grandchildren

2 sisters and one brother all in Scotland.

Preceded in death by her father, Robert Norcross and 2 sons: Larry, Jr. and Brian Lawrence.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Margaret C. Lawrence will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 2 until 6 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, Post #232,

6523 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville).

Margaret was born and raised in Scotland and served the British Royal Air Force. She moved to the United States in 1965. Margaret was an avid gardener. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. Margaret will be taken back to her beloved home in Scotland for burial.
