Marguerite Vera, 85, of Hammond, entered her heavenly home on Friday, November 1, 2013.
One brother, Augustine Vera, with whom she made her home, survives her. As well as two sisters Alice Siminski and Marian (Joseph) Galasso;
several nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.  Preceded in death by her parents, Augustine and Rafaela Vera and sister Carmen Siurek.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 5,2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with father Charles Mosley officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family at Bocken Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 5th from 9.30am until the time of service.
Marguerite was born on June 16, 1928 in East Chicago, IN and was a 1947 graduate of Washington High School. She attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Hammond. Marguerite loved art and music. She was a loving, devoted sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
