Marianne Reel, age 52, of Highland, formerly of Hammond, entered into the gates of heaven on Friday, April 17, 2015. Survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Ray Reel, Jr.;

son, David Reel and daughter, Deanne Reel;

one  brother, David Lail; family friend, Donald Ramey and many cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Bina Lail and one sister, Robin Lail.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. directly at First Baptist Church Main Auditorium, 473 Sibley, Hammond with Pastor Roy Moffitt officiating.

Burial will follow at Memory Lane Memorial Park in Crown Point. Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Marianne was born and raised in Hammond and has been a lifelong faithful member of First Baptist Church. She was very active in the Ladies Missionary Society and a member of the Canada Circle. She was a 1981 graduate of Hammond Baptist High School. Marianne had a genuine love for children and was employed for the School Town of Highland as a Dependent Care Aid. She loved reading, traveling, vacationing, going out to eat, touring model homes and was a talented decorator. Marianne was an extremely loving, caring and devoted friend to many. She was a wonderful Christian woman who leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion for her family and service to the Lord. Marianne was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
