Marjorie Esther Moore, age 91, of Hammond, entered her heavenly home on Monday, April 6, 2015.

She is survived by her dear friends and adopted family: Bill (Sue) Bero and their children Adam and Zack; cousins Jane and Frances; several great-cousins; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and neighbors Judy Kuhn and Tracy, Destiny and Sean Schweisthal.

Preceded in death by her husband: Clyde Moore; son: Terry Moore and parents Warren and Hilda Evans.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville). Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family at Bocken Funeral Home on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Marjorie was a lifetime resident of Hammond and a 1942 graduate of Hammond High School. She was retired from LaSalle Steel where she worked in the office. Marjorie was a past member of the Red Hats and AARP. She was a caring and loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
