Marjorie A. Walters, age 82, of Hammond, entered into the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

She is survived by her 3 loving children: Timothy "Tim" Walters, Brenda (Richard) Call, James (Virginia) Walters; 4 Grandchildren: Lacy (Aaron) Kessel, Rachael and Barbie Walters, Amanda Loveland along with 8 great grandchildren: Jacob Lecea, Austin Kessel, Kameran, Makenzie and Cole Callison, Elijah, Christopher Ortiz and Sydney Kessel; 1 brother, Peter (late Elizabeth) Bradovich and 1 sister, Rosalie (John) Gallegos; numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 16 years, William Walters; parents, Benjamin and Margaret Toth; brother Steven Klarik

Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville). Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home with Father Charles Mosley officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Hammond.

Marjorie was born and raised in East Chicago and Hammond. She was a graduate of Hammond Tech in 1956. Marjorie was an avid bowler and played in many tournaments throughout her years. She was most recently employed at Plaza Lanes in Highland. She expressed her caring and loving nature by being a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother not only to her own children, but to all those around her. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, who were always the love of her life.
