Marlene Allen, age 59, of Schererville entered peacefully into eternal life on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Thomas Allen; children: Amellia Richey, Josiah (Brittany) Allen, Stephen Allen and Thomas Allen; Siblings: Richard (Laura) Hamilton and Donald Buskey.

She is preceded in death her parents: Donald C. and Vera Jay Buskey; brother James Hamilton.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life to be held at the First Baptist Church Administrative Building located at 507 State Street, Hammond IN 46320 on Saturday November 6, 2021. Memorial visitation at 10:00 a.m. with a service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Roy Moffitt officiating.

Marlene was a lifetime resident of the region. She was graduate of Hammond Baptist High School and Hyles Anderson College.  Marlene enjoyed being a homemaker, collecting various crafts including swans, taking drives to the lake to watch the swans.  In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
