Mary Elizabeth Driskill,  age 84, of Hammond , passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, September 30, 2010.

She is survived by 2 Sons: Dale Driskill of Hammond and,

Ralph (Linda) Driskill of Bellevue , WA

8 Grandchildren: Vicky (Shayne) Stewart,

Matt (Dina) Driskill, Cheryl (Chris) Roberts, Scott Driskill, Erin (Ryan) Pauly, Elaine Driskill, Paul Driskill and

Grace (Marciel) Ruiz

9 Great Grandchildren: Kyle and Corey Stewart, Alex, Jeremy and Benjamin Driskill, Casey and Caitlin Roberts, Nathan Oien, Peyton Pauly and Madison Ruiz

Many nieces and nephews, including; Patricia (John) Light, Lori Light, Kimberly (William) Cisna, Chris (Natalie) Light and Fran (Bruce) Beckman.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years; Cecil Driskill, parents; Orville and Hilma Brown, one brother; Robert Brown and one sister; Betty Marx

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 12p.m. (Noon) at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue , Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Ralph Robbie Driskill officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Cemetery , 12000 S. Kedzie, Blue Island , IL . There will be a time of visitation on Monday, Oct. 4 ^th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m.

Mary was a lifetime resident of the Chicago Area and 10 years ago moved to the Hessville section of Hammond . She attended the First Christian Church of Hessville. Mary dedicated her life to making a difference in the lives of her children and grandchildren.  Her favorite pastime was playing cards, she especially enjoyed the family card game of "Blitz". She was a loving  and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
