Mary Elizabeth Robinson, age 74 of Griffith IN. Went to be with the Lord on Monday January 26, 2015.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Ronald Robinson; three children: Clarissa Jo Boswell, Genece Robinson and Ann Robinson 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; 1 sister; many nieces nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: Donald and Annie Goldsmith; 2 sons: Donnie Boswell and Billy Robinson

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday January 29, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, (Hessville) with Pastor Scott Hobbs officiating. Private cremation to follow.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation on Thursday January 29, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home.

Mary was born and raised in Walker County, Alabama; she has made her home in Griffith for the past 45 years. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Griffith. Mary enjoyed gardening and growing flowers, shopping and socializing. Mary never knew a stranger and probably knew everyone in Griffith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed. Memorials in her memory may be made to Colon or Breast cancer research.
