Mary Lynn Gonzalez, age 66, of the Bush section of Chicago, entered into the presence of the Lord on Monday, August 31, 2020.

She is survived by her daughters: Lisa (Anthony) Thomas and Diana Gonzalez; Grandchildren: Megan (Alex) Aguilera, Marti Murillo, Daniel Lulich II, Kaiel Gonzalez, Christian Gonzalez and Patience Adkins; great grandchildren: Naiyeli Tirado, Lorenzo Aguilera, Alycia Fernandez and Francisco Fernandez; siblings: David (Raquel) Bergtold and Kathryn Bergtold.

Preceded in death by her husband: Heriberto Gonzalez; Parents: Russell and Dolores Bergtold; sister, Denise (Emil) Tello.

Friends and family are invited for a time of visitation on Friday September 4th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond. Due to Covid-19 guidelines face mask are required. A funeral service will be held on Saturday September 5th at 10:30 a.m.  at Bocken Funeral Home. Followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.

Mary Gonzalez was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and was a long-time resident of the Bush and South Chicago area. She attended St. Michael Catholic Church. Mary enjoyed crocheting, drawing and spending time with family. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
