Nureya Rosales, age 86, of Munster, IN entered into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Jose A. Rosales; two children: Nureya Jessica (Geraldo Arroyo) Miller and Ulysses (Jorge Cestou) Rosales; two grandchildren: Nureya Miller and Jessika Miller.

Preceded in death by her parents: Obdulio and Maria Martinez; two brothers: Lenin and Obdulio Martinez .

Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 9:00AM-11:00AM at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, IN 46323. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond.

Nuerya was born in Cuba but has been a resident of the Region since 1964. She was a beautician who owned and operated Beauty Inn in Hessville for 43 years before retiring in 2020. She enjoyed traveling, talking to people, knitting and making people laugh by telling jokes. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
