Ofelia Tijerina, age  92, of East Chicago entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 2, 2013.
She is survived by her loving family;
2 daughters: Sylvia and Mary Alice Tijerina
1 grandson Eric Phillip Villasenor
Numerous nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
Preceded in death by her devoted husband and life long love Domitilo Tijerina in 1986.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home.
burial to follow at Ridgelawn-Mt. Mercy Cemetery in Gary.
Ofelia has been a lifetime resident of East Chicago  and a faithful member of Holy Trinity Croatian Catholic Church
Ofelia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
