Patricia Jo Perez, 56, of Cedar Lake entered into the gates of heaven on Thursday, March 12, 2015.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Ramiro L. Perez;

3 sons: Ruben (Becki) Perez,

Joseph (Shana) Perez,

Anthony (Beth) Perez;

8 grandchildren: Ashton, Isabella, Cameron, Kelsey, Addison, Laila, Jase and Anthony Jr.;

5 siblings: Cathy (Cliff) Petriella,

Matthew (Julie) Echterling,

Michael (Bonnie) Echterling,

Matthew (Valerie) VanSenus,

Carolyn (Rick) Fehring;

Numerous nieces, nephews, sister and brother-in-laws and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Janice Echterling; brothers, Mark Echterling and Mark A. Echterling.

Patti was a lifetime resident of the Calumet Area and  a 1976 graduate of Lake Central High School. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed serving her family. Her grandchildren were the delight of her life. Pattihad a wonderful personality and was loved by everyone who knew her.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville).
