Paul "PJ" Hildred Hensley, Jr., age 67, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2016.
He is survived by two children: Kimberly (Doug) Clardy and Brian (Tracie) Hensley; five grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Brianna Clardy, Joshua, Haley and Noah Hensley; mother, Annie Margaret Hensley; sister, Sherry (Emil) Shadley; two nephews: Michael (Cheri) Shadley and Stephen (Rachel) Shadley; numerous friends.

Preceded in death by his father, Paul Hildred Hensley, Sr.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Jeffrey Hannon                       officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm. at Bocken Funeral Home.

Paul was a resident of the Hessville section of Hammond and was a 1967 graduate of Morton High School. He served his country during the Vietnam War as a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marines Corps. Paul is a retired  Hammond Police Officer and a member of F.O.P. #51. Paul was a avid baseball fan, and he enjoyed all sports. He was a great Dad, a loving and devoted grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed.
