Phyllis D. Hill, age 77 of Hammond entered into Heaven's gates peacefully on Saturday, May 21, 2011.
Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Harold "Chuck" Hill.
3 Sons: Harold "Tom" (Janet) Hill of Henderson Nevada, Glen Hill of Mt. Vernon,IN and Donald Hill of Schererville.
2 Daughters: Karen (Charles) Jones of Demotte and Nancy (John) CegLarek of Demotte
18 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren.
Several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her Parents Fred and Lula Lanham, 4 brothers and one sister.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 25 , 2011 at 10am at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Dan Nichols Minister officiating.
Burial will follow at Maplewood Memorial Cemetery in Crown Point,IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday May 24,2011 at Bocken Funeral Home from 4pm-8pm.
Phyllis was a longtime resident of Hammond. She was a faithful member of First Christian Church. She retired from St. Margaret Hospital after 14 years as a nursing assistant. Phyllis was a devoted wife, mother and adoring grandmother and great grandmother.
