Primitiva "Tulin" Soler

Primitiva "Tulin" Soler (nee Cardona) age 59 of Chicago, Illinois was called home to heaven on Tuesday October 7,2014. She is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Cristobal Soler; five loving children: Rev. Orlando (Sugey) Soler, Samuel (Sonia) Soler, Mildred Soler, David (Luz) Soler and Damaris Soler; eight grandchildren: Christopher, Jasmine, Jessica, Orlando Jr., Jayden and Jonah Soler and Christopher and Michael Phillips. Preceded in death by her parents Miguel and Reyes Cardona and precious  granddaughter Yesenia Phillips. Tulin was the youngest of 16 children so she also leaves many siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host friends.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday October 10, 2014 at 12 noon, DIRECTLY at Manantial de Vida Church, 7406 West 80th Street, Bridgeview, IL 60455 with Pastor Ramon Gerena and Pastor Orlando Soler officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park, IL. Friends may meet with the family for a time of visitation on Friday morning at the Church from 9.30am until the time of the service at 12 P.M.

Tulin was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico on October 2, 1955 and came to Chicago in 1973 where she met and married the love of her life Cristobal. She was a faithful member of Manantial de Vida Church and a follower of Jesus Christ. Tulin loved being a homemaker, taking care of her family, and being mom not only to her children and grandchildren but to many in her church as well.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
