Raymond E. Grimmer, age 77 of Hessville passed away peacefully Saturday October 15, 2011.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years. Gerry Grimmer (Nee Freckelton) One daughter Cindy (Tom) Canner

Preceded in death by his Parents John and Ulva Grimmer, 3 brothers; Clarence, Ralph and Edward Grimmer

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 19, 2011 DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 7132 Arizona Street, Hammond with Mass of Christian Burial at 10am with Rev. Charles Mosley Celebrant.
Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) and on Tuesday October 18, 2011 from 3-8pm. and on Wednesday from 9.30am until 10am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Ray is a life time resident of Hammond. He retired from Wiseway foods as produce manager in 1997. Ray was a faithful Parishioner of our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, where he was a former Usher, choir member and on the church council. Ray enjoyed bowling, golf, roller skating, senior games and was a Chicago White Sox fan . He always put his family first and was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather who will be deeply missed.
