Richard W. Beller, age 62 of Hessville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 20, 2010.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Glenda K. (nee, Brandon) Beller

8 Grandchildren
Several step-brothers and step-sisters and half-brothers and half-sisters
Numerous nieces and nephews
Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 23,2010 at 6:00 pm at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue , Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor John Hoffmaster officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family at Bocken Funeral Home on Friday, April 23rd from 3-7pm . A private committal service will be held at a later date. Rick will be buried with his mother, Charlotte Beller in McCool Cemetery in Portage, IN .
Rick was born and raised in Gary and graduated from Lew Wallace High School. He was a proud veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict, having served 2 tours of duty. He was a member of American Legion Post # 168, whose members will post colors at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Rick was a salesman for over 20 years and retired in 2002. His passion was sports and his favorite teams were the White Sox and the Bears. Memorials in memory of Richard Beller may be made to Blue Skies Hospice, 2714-169th St., Hammond, IN 46323.
