Richard "Rick" Anthony Kelley, age 54, of Hammond, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014.
He is survived by his loving wife and companion of 14 years, Susan L. Kelley (nee, Eppl);

4 sisters: Mauna (Al) Davino,

Lora (Donald) Stahl,

Lana (Richard) Riordan,

Nola (Bill) Caldwell;

1 brother, Jack Kelley;

3 cousins: Donald (Sandy) Damron, Nova (Mark) Adler and Patty Parrish;

8 nieces and nephews;

9 great nieces and nephews; and a his best friends, his canine companions, Hailey and Lannie.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jackie Lee and Mauna Fae Kelley.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Rick Kelley will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Doug Klukken officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Thursday, September 18th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Cremation preceded the service.

Rick was a lifetime resident of Hammond and a 1977 graduate of Morton High School. Rick served his country in the U.S. Army, where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked at Calumite Co. as an electrician.

Rick loved hunting, fishing and was an avid reader of good books. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
