Robert Larry Thompson
Robert Larry Thompson, age 79 of Highland passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, October 1, 2017.
Survived by one daughter, Jeanne (Jim) Troutner; granddaughter, Jeannine Troutner; one brother, Kitchner Thompson, Numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Luanne Thompson; parents, Leroy and Elsie Thompson; two brothers: William and Gerald Thompson and one sister, Kathee Thompson.
Robert was born on November 11, 1937 in Chicago, IL and was a 30 year veteran of the Chicago Police Department. He was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, an Air Policeman and member of the F.O.P. He loved running marathons and woodworking.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
