Robert O. Woosley, age 74, of Highland went home to meet his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 20, 2015.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Peggy Woosley, (nee, Mullins);

4 Children: Robert (Michelle) Woosley,

Heather Muffett,

Melissa (Darryl) McIntire, Lisa Woosley;

9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren;

brother, Carl (Sandy) Woosley;

3 sisters: Barbara Woosley, Donna (Paul) Hogue, Bonnie (Bob) Kuhn, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Dora Woosley; 2 sisters, Rosella and Sarah.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Ed Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family at Bocken Funeral Home for a time of visitation on Wednesday, June 24th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Bob was born and raised in West Virginia and has lived in the Calumet Area for over 40 years. He was a faithful member of Terrace Park Church of God. Bob was a welder and retired in 1997 from Standard Oil after 20 years of service. He was a hard worker and had restored and "flipped" many houses. He was a "Master" at playing pool. He loved country music and adored his grandchildren.

Bob was a generous and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
