Rodolfo Castellanos, "Rudy" age 52, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 11, 2017.

Rudy is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Thelma Castellanos (Diaz); one daughter: Daisy Castellanos; three sisters: Valentina, Rosa and Gloria; two brothers: Nacho and Fernando; many nieces, nephews, inlaws and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rodolfo and Guillerma Castellanos.

A funeral service for Rodolfo "Rudy" Castellanos will be held on Sunday January 15, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Ave. Hammond, (Hessville). Private cremation will follow. Friends are invited to meet with the family at Bocken Funeral Home for visitation on Sunday January 15, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Rodolfo who was known as Rudy to most everyone, was born in Veracruz, Mexico, grew up in San Antonio Texas and has lived in the Hammond community for the past 21 years. He loved spending time outdoors, working around the house and fixing and building things. But most of all he loved to spend time with his wife and daughter.
