Ronald Paul Hlista, age 68 of Munster, passed away at his residence on Monday January 24, 2010. He is survived by four sons, Laurence (Donna) Hlista of Munster, Christopher (Gayle) Hlista of Hammond, Jeffrey (Linda) Hlista of Oak Lawn, IL and David Hlista of Hammond; 5 grandchildren, Bryce, Michael, Jennifer, Amber and Susie Preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Rita (nee, Karr)Hlista; parents, Paul and Ann Hlista and one brother, Robert Hlista

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 6:00 pm at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue , Hammond (Hessville). Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, January 26 ^th from 4 until 7 pm. Burial will be private.

Ron was born on January 31, 1942 in Ambridge, PA and moved to the Calumet Area 50 years ago. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. After working for Standard Forge for many years he went back to school to become a computer technician. Ron enjoyed reading, watching sports on TV and was a fan of all the Chicago teams.
