Rosaline Malinich, age 82, of Hobart , formerly of Gary , passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 11, 2010.

She is survived by her 5 Nieces and Nephews:

Sally (late, Michael, Jr.) Malinich of Crown Point

Bob (Harriet) Malinich of Crown Point

Martin (Denise) Malinich of Dyer

Karen (Jim) Fowler of St. John

Carol (Len) Vanover of Estero , FL

Many great nieces and great nephews

Preceded in death by her parents; Peter and Julia (nee, Stercho) Malinich and 4 brothers; George, Michael, Peter and John Malinich

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., with a time of viewing from 9:30 a.m. until the service, DIRECTLY at St. Nicholas Church, 954 State Street , Hobart with Fr. Sergi Alekseev officiant. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville . Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, May 14 ^th at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) from 2 until 8 pm. There will be a Parastas Service on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m..

Rose was a lifetime resident of the Calumet Area she worked for many years in sales. For many years she cared for her ailing mother in her home. Rose was a faithful member of St. Nicholas Church were she volunteered many hours. She could always be found in the church kitchen making her delicious nut rolls. Rose was a delightful lady, a loving aunt and a dear friend to many. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Rose's memory to St. Nicholas Church.
