Rose Elizabeth Dezamko, age 96, of Donaldson, IN, formerly of Hessville passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 1, 2012.
She is survived by one daughter, Roseanne Palmer;
several grandchildren and great grandchildren;
1 brother, Anthony (Virginia) Chamberlain;
2 sisters-in-law, Betty and Ida Chamberlain;
many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Dezamko; daughter, Deborah Dezamko; parents, Paul and Nora Chamberlain; 2 brothers, James and Joseph Chamberlain;
2 sisters, Helen Bozack and Mary Cirincione.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. directly at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 7132 Arizona Avenue, Hammond (Hessville), with Rev. Charles Mosley celebrant. Burial will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Hammond. There will be a time of visitation on Friday morning directly at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the mass at 10:00 a.m.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 2:00 p.m., est. until 4:00 p.m., est. directly at Catherine Kasper Life Center, 9601 Union Rd., Donaldson, IN.
Rosary service will be held at 3:30 p.m., est.
Rose was a lifetime resident of Hammond before moving to Donaldson, IN. She had been a longtime faithful member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and the Ladies Rosary Society. Rose was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a dear friend to many.
