Sandria "Cyndi" Leigh Ross, age 48 of Gary passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Methodist Hospital.

She is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, William E. Ross;

3 sons: Anthony (fiancé, Jessica Harper) Wood, Jeremy and Travis Miller;

2 grandchildren, Harmony and Anthony Wood;

2 brothers, Allen (Bridgette) Floyd and John (Crystal) Floyd;

2 sisters, Rebecca (late, Herman) Martin and Jeannette (Tony) Hawkins;

Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Patricia Floyd and one sister, Brenda Floyd

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Cyndi Ross will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond.

Friends are invited to meet with the family before the service on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Cyndi will be laid to rest at Green Hills Cemetery in Buena Vista, VA at a later date.

Cyndi has lived in the Black Oak section of Gary for the past 12 years. She was a "party girl" who enjoyed having a good time.
