Scott Allen Philips, age 44 of Hammond, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 1, 2011.

He is survived by his parents, Robert C. (Faye) Philips of Hammond;

2 brothers, James (Cathy) Philips of Lowell and

Robert C. (Angela) Philips, Jr. of Canvas, WV;

grandfather, Albert Cotterell of Tavares, Fl;

one aunt, Frances (James) Biehl of Leesburg, FL;

one niece, Zoe, 3 nephews, Zachary, Tommy and Norman;

Numerous cousins and a host of dear friends.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Scott Allen Philips will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011

at 4:00 p.m at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Rev. Alex Stone officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family at Bocken Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Scott was a lifetime resident of Hammond and attended Woodmar United Methodist Church. Scott loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and camping.
