John D. Chrzanowski, age 22, of Hessville, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 7, 2011.
He is survived by his loving son, Jayden Chrzanowski;devoted parents, Linda Marie Chrzanowski and Scott Lee Miller. Sister, Stephanie Cox; niece, Shyanne Spangler and Jayden's mother, Jodi Triezenberg. Grandmother, Dorothy Chrzanowski and
numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Preceded in death by his grandfather, Stanley John Chrzanowski.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday July 14,2011 at 10:00 a.m. from Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville). Burial with military honors to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday July 13, 2011 at the Bocken Funeral Home, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
John was a 2007 graduate of Morton High School, he then went on to proudly serve our country in the United States Army where he was assigned to the Motor Transport Co. John served in Kuwait/Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and was awarded the National Defense Service, Global War on Terrorism and Iraq Campaign Medals among numerous other service ribbons. John was currently assigned to the 853rd TTP Army Reserve unit in Hobart, IN. He loved riding his bike, and was a fan of the Indianapolis Colt's and Chicago Cub's. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle , grandson, nephew and best friend , he will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers memorials to be directed to the family for his son Jayden would be appreciated.
