Stanley J. Machusek Jr., age 59 of Hammond was born on December 22, 1954 and entered into eternal life on Friday, March 21, 2014.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Jackie Machusek and

Rebecca Machusek;
2 sisters: Sharon Resa and Donna (John) Stenson;

Brother in law Chuck McWilliams
3 nieces: Lisa, Jessica and Jennifer;
5 nephews: Ambrose, John, Paul, Michael and Richard; numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of dear friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Josephine Machusek. Sister Joan McWilliams.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 5 p.m. with Father Steve Kosinski officiating at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville).
Private cremation will follow with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City at a later date.
Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Wednesday, March 26th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home.
Stanley was born and raised in Chicago and has been a resident of Hammond for over 50 years. He was a proud Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. Stanley was a past parishioner at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Hammond. Mac had a passion for music and playing the blues on his guitar.  He worked for Securitas as a security guard for a number of years. Mac loved life and lived his life to the fullest. He was a loving and devoted father, brother and a beloved friend to many.  Mac will best be remembered for his enthusiasm for fine dining love for music and gathering the family together for Sunday dinners. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
