Steven C. Shelton, age 43, of Longville, MN entered into the presence of the Lord, suddenly on Thursday, October 31, 2019 as the result of an automobile accident. He is survived by five children: Steven Jr. Jerry, Dezra, Kevin Shelton and Jarred McBride; numerous grandchildren; parents, William (Linda) Shelton; three siblings: Dawn (James) Owten, Michael (Tammy) Shelton and Christine (William) Allen; many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his brother Kevin Shelton.

A gathering to celebrate Steven's life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, (Hessville). Cremation was private.

Steve was raised in Hammond and had lived in the region until 6 years ago when he moved to Longville. He had attended Morton Senior High School. He was self-employed as a roofer. Steve enjoyed watching and participating in MMA and UFC cage fighting, as well as riding his motorcycle. He was a loving father, grandfather, son brother, uncle and friend who will dearly missed.
