Susan L. Alexander, age 70, of Hammond, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday March 3, 2026.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Raymond L. Alexander; two children: Lindsey (Mark) Keller, and Olivia (fiancé Ernesto Rivera) Alexander; two grandchildren: Aiden and Hailey; three siblings: Dale Minton, Peggy (Tim) Jones, Steven (Lynda) Minton, and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including her Yorkie “Fergie”.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Ruth (nee Sanford) Minton and parents in-law, Raymond Sr. and Janet (nee Conkey) Alexander.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Moffitt officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, IN 46323. Private cremation will follow.

Sue was born and raised in the region. She was a former CASA worker. Foster Mom and an assistant administrator having worked at several companies including NiSource. Sue was an avid shopper colleting purses and shoes. In her free time, she enjoyed watching the classics on T.V., and spending time with family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, devoted grandmother and loyal sister and friend.
