Terrie L. Lakin, age 60 of Hammond, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 18, 2015.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Gregory J. Lakin;

2 Children: Jeremy (Tiffany) Lakin and Amy Edmond;

4 grandchildren: Amber, Parker, Trevor and Tristen.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Carissa Lakin and parents, Fred and Margurite Wolf.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Scott Ferry officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.

Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday morning, May 21st at Bocken Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Terrie was raised in Hessville and was a 1974 graduate of Morton High School. She enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors. Her favorite pastime was to take her grandchildren camping.

Terrie was a sweet and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
