Thomas E. Mooney age 61 of Hammond Passed away on Monday September 29, 2025.

He is survived by his children: Cody (Brittany) Mooney, Samantha Mooney, and Mary (Travis) Casey; eight grandchildren: Kayden, Kaylep, Ashlynn, Lynnlei, Hunter, Abigail, Harper, Jonas; fiancé Laura J. Whitcomb; nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Eugene Mooney Sr. and Luanne DiNovo; one brother, Brian Mooney.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation on on Friday October 10, 2025 from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Ave. Hammond, IN 46323. Funeral service will be held on Saturday October 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home followed by burial at St. John Cemetery, Hammond.

Tommy attended Gavit High School and was an auto mechanic for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and loved his yellow truck.
