Velvadean Foust, age 76 of Hammond entered into the gates of Heaven and into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, October 3, 2012.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Herbert Foust;
3 sons: Glen (Heike) Foust; Vaughn (Darlene) Foust and Mark Foust;
8 grandchildren
7 great grandchildren;
1 brother, Leslie (Julie) Corie
several nieces, nephews; and a host of dear friends from the Hessville Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, Loral Odis Fear and Glendean and Leroy Corie.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Jeffrey Hannon officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, October 7th at Bocken Funeral Home from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
Velvadean was born on May 4, 1936 in Rose Hill, IL and has lived in the Hessville section of Hammond for over 50 years. She was a longtime faithful member of Hessville Baptist Church.  Velvadean was a tireless worker for the Lord and her church family. She was a loving and kind wife and mother, a devoted grandmother, great grandmother and sister and a dear and loyal friend to many.
