Vince A. Barrios, age 67, of Highland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Anita J. Barrios (nee Ferguson); daughter, Christina (Daniel) Adler; grandchildren: Lorelei and Axel Adler; brother, David Barrios. Preceded in death by his parents: Vicente C. (Jovita) Barrios (nee Salazar.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation to celebrate Vince's life on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville). Private burial will follow on Monday at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Schererville.

Vince was a long time native of the region. He attended Griffith High School and graduated in the class of 1975.  Five years later he married the love of his life Anita Ferguson. Vince worked as an IT Specialist at numerous companies as well as being a consultant. He served and worshiped at several area churches, most recently attending Suncrest Christian Church. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, computers, cycling and loved cooking family dinners and football games with family and friends.
