Vickie G. Huskisson, age 64, of Hammond, entered into the gates of heaven on Saturday, July 4, 2015 while surrounded by her loved ones.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Charles Huskisson;

2 daughters: Ingrid (Robert) Jobe and Stephanie Huskisson;

4 grandchildren: Justin and Brianne Ward;

Connor and Reagan Jobe;

2 sisters: Phyllis (James) Huskisson and

Joanie (Jerry) Brown;

1 brother, Michael (Denise) Edwards;

Numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Nevel and Dorothy Edwards, and one sister, Paulette.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the service at 10:00 a.m., directly at Zion Holiness Church, 707-169th St., Hammond with Rev. Richard Westmoreland, Bishop Bill Westmoreland, Rev. Billy McCugh and Rev. Anthony Cox.

Burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Crown Point.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Wednesday, July 8th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond, (Hessville).

Vickie was a lifetime resident of Hammond and was a 1969 graduate of Calumet High School. She was a longtime faithful member of Zion Holiness Church in Hammond. Vickie loved spending time with her family, drawing and was an excellent cook. She was a Godly woman who loved the Lord and her church.

Vickie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
