Virginia Mary Littig,( Nee Zaleski) age 82 of Hammond, passed away after a lengthy illness on, Monday, October 17, 2011.
She is survived by her 3 son's; Edward M. (Susan) Littig, Michael Littig and John (Michelle) Littig.
7 grandchildren Joey, Casey, Brandy, Shannon, William, Jonathon and Joshua.
Numerous great grandchildren, friends and her faithful companion King her German shepard.
Preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Edward M. Littig, parents Edward and Mary Zaleski, 1 sister Adeline and 2 brothers Casey and Edward.
A private funeral service to celebrate Virginia's life will be held on Saturday October 22, 2011 at 12 Noon at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville), Father Charles Mosley, officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond. Family will gather for a private visitation on Friday.
Virginia was a resident of Hammond for over 43 years, she was a parishioner of Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church. Virginia enjoyed shopping, was a great cook and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed.
